We collect as little as we can get away with, we tell you plainly what it is, and we never sell it. The same honesty we ask of the media is the standard we hold ourselves to here.
01What we collect
- Your email address — if you subscribe to the weekly brief.
- Text you submit to PRISM — the headlines, quotes, or URLs you analyze. We process them to return your analysis; we do not use them to build a profile of you.
- Basic usage counts — how many analyses you've run this month, so we can enforce the free-tier limit.
- Minimal analytics — aggregate page views and referrers, without cross-site tracking.
02How we use it
To send you the weekly brief, to run the PRISM tool, to operate billing for Pro accounts, and to understand which issues land so we can write better ones. That's the whole list.
03What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We don't run third-party advertising trackers.
- We don't retain the text you analyze longer than needed to return your result and enforce usage limits.
04Who we share it with
Only the service providers required to run StrataLens, each handling a narrow slice:
- Payment processing — Stripe handles Pro subscriptions. We never see your full card details.
- Email delivery — our email provider stores your address to send the brief.
- Analysis — submitted text is processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate your brief. It is not used to train models.
05Your choices
- Unsubscribe any time from the link in any brief, or by emailing us.
- Request deletion of your email and account data at any time.
- Decline PRISM entirely — the weekly brief works without ever submitting your own text.
A note on the analysis itself: PRISM returns a model estimate of persuasive pressure, not a verdict on truth. We treat your submissions as data to analyze, never as opinions we attribute to you.
